principle acts

Our Principle Acts are made up of sound projects entirely born of and backed by the volunteer efforts of DNR.

Night Tennis

A self-described “Dreamviolence” band, Night Tennis draws sonic inspiration from artists such as Orchid, Deafheaven, I Hate Sex, and Stevie Ray Vaughan (iykyk). The group began as a three-piece in June 2024 and underwent constant lineup changes until October 2024, when it settled as a five-piece—and has remained unchanged since. Night Tennis’ music explores themes of existentialism, folklore, and addiction.

Don Tvsk

DON TVSK is the sound of ruin given form. Their music drags through the grave-soaked mire of Funeral Doom, lashes out with the venom of Black Metal, and wallows in the suffocating weight of Sludge. Yet beneath the decay lies atmosphere—ethereal textures that linger like smoke over a battlefield. Dark, brooding, and oppressive, DON TVSK’s art is less a performance than an invocation, pulling the listener into a world where beauty and despair bleed together.

Opera Of The Working Man

An industrial project focused on themes of depression, anger, and working class frustration. Conceptually, OOTWM is rooted in science-fiction narratives that take much of its influence from UFO cults and other New Religious Movements.

Postictal State

A politically motivated and psychologically tormented noise project.

PSSG

An experiment in improvised and unabridged musical recording. PSSG is focused on the construction of impenetrable walls of sound and crushing sonicscapes.

Sarcophillia

The platonic ideal of a shitty deathgrind dummy slam band. The musical equivalent of making a joke during an important work meeting that no one laughs at.

SOck goop

An experiment in improvised and unabridged musical recording. PSSG is focused on the construction of impenetrable walls of sound and crushing sonicscapes.
